This project required producing an advertisement campaign for the stationery Moleskine. This series of ads primarily targeted artists, designers, entrepreneurs, travelers and thinkers. The campaign had a wide range of possible directions, but I needed something that would bring some fresh ideas and innovation while implementing the brand concept.

I wanted to have a series of ad posters focused on the history and link them to our past. The digital invention will not eliminate the traditional way of record but only make them more valuable and unique. I wanted the customers to envision their future experience with Moleskine about expressing their feeling and energy, sharing their knowledge and capturing their reality in this little black notebook.

The final ad campaign featured three combinations of Moleskine notebook with an actual historical object. It included a different variety of notebook (dotted, lined, plain) and different cultures’ artifact (papyrus, cuneiform, hieroglyph). The composition is centered, simple, clean and classic. The use of primary colors is standard yet efficient. Through the tagline “From then to now.”, this concept expresses the integration of human history and the present world, by presenting two completely different ways of recording information, to show that history has formed everything we are now through time.
